Here are the best fall events in Phoenix, Arizona for 2022 so that you can enjoy the harvest season.

 

1. Arizona State Fair  

The Arizona State Fair has been a beloved fall tradition since it was established in 1905. It's become increasingly popular over the years, and now annually draws thousands of families from all across Arizona. Carnival rides and games, food from local vendors, and live entertainment. There's something for everyone at the fair – whether you're looking to get your adrenaline going on some thrilling rides or just enjoy some good old-fashioned fun with your family.

 

The Arizona State Fair will begin September 23rd and last until October 30th, and it's open Thursday through Sunday — the ideal time for a getaway.

 

2. Local First Arizona Fall Festival  

The Local First Arizona Fall Festival will be returning this fall, and it's sure to make Phoenix residents happy. It's a free, family-friendly, and pet-friendly event with something for everyone. The Sports Zone has games, as well as arts and crafts at the official Kid Zone.

 

3. Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Party  

The Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Party, which takes place in Queen Creek, is an event for children and adults of all ages. The fall celebration offers seasonal delights such as a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and petting zoo. Train rides, roller coaster rides, fireworks, and plenty of food are among the other family-friendly activities available. And no Pumpkin and Chili Party would be complete without chili, of course.

 

4. Vertuccio Farms Fall Festival  

Come on down to Vertuccio Farms for some good old-fashioned fun at their annual “Cooler Days in the Corn Maze” Fall Festival! There's a pumpkin patch, mini golf, spider web climbing, tube sliding, petting zoo, and best of all—a five-acre corn maze. Perfect for a family outing or date night!

 

5. MacDonald’s Ranch Pumpkin Patch  

From October 1st to 30th, families can visit MacDonald’s Ranch pumpkin patch and participate in many fun activities! When you attend, not only will you have the opportunity to find the perfect carving or fall-themed treats for your fall celebrations, but your admission includes a hay bale maze, lawn games, panning for gold, and a petting zoo.

 

The pumpkin patch is open Mondays and Wednesdays through Sundays throughout October and closed only on Tuesdays and Halloween.

 

6. Dia de Los Muertos   

Celebrate Latin American culture with the Mesa Arts Center at their annual Dia de Los Muertos Festival. The free weekend event features performances, an altar competition, and various other activities related to Day of the Dead. Join in on October 22nd and 23rd to experience this one-of-a-kind festival celebration!

 

7. Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest and Corn Maze  

If you're up for the drive, Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest and Corn Maze in Dewey is worth a stop. 80 acres of farm-inspired family fun with activities such as a corn maze, pumpkin picking, rides, games, and more are available at this family-friendly event. Weekend entertainment includes hayrides, grain train rides, vendors, and live music.

 

The festival runs from September 26th to October 30th and is open seven days a week.

 

8. Willis Farms Festivities and Haunted Corn Maze  

Willis Farms in Snowflake, a family farm located three hours northeast of Phoenix, will have plenty of festive fall activities available starting September 24th. In addition to the classic pumpkin patch, visitors can enjoy train rides and laser tag games. The haunted corn maze is also open during limited time slots. On October 29th there will be a Kid's Haunt event specifically for younger children that lasts only one night.
